The Ardmore House Hotel St Albans is a charming Edwardian Residence with Victorian Annex, both of which have been tastefully converted to provide relaxing and comfortable accommodation within a Residents Only environment. Situated in a pleasant residential area of St Albans, the privately owned hotel aims to provide a relaxed atmosphere whether your stay is for reasons of business or pleasure. Private off-road car parking is available to the rear of the hotel, adjacent to the secluded gardens.

Each room at Ardmore House Hotel comes with TV, tea and coffee making facilities and either a bathtub or shower and a hairdryer. Some rooms feature views over the property’s grounds and garden.

Breakfast is served every morning in the large breakfast room overlooking the garden. A range of spirits and soft drinks is available in the bar with an adjoining conservatory, with a wide selection of great food served in the on-site restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Cots are available on request in advance at 10.00 per night (Subject to availability and to suitable room being available)

Excellent hospitality in a charming hotel. A truly wonderful well run, family owned hotel. The attention given to us was admirable and it felt like a home away from home. All around the buildings of the hotel are baskets of colourful hangIng begonias. The decor throughout the hotel is enchanting to the eye with an attention to beauty and detail. Don’t miss the experience!

The hotel is set in a residential area not far from St Albans centre. It has some beautiful features and is different from a lot of chain hotels. The room was nicely furnished and it has a great shower. We were very happy with the hotel and staff.

Lovely old building(s) with style of decor in keeping. Room was comfortable, and spotless (as were all the other areas in the hotel). Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, quick service and tasty produce. Great location - short walk to shops/cafes/restaurants, slightly further to the Cathedral and Roman Museum. Quite close to train station (but we couldn't hear any trains at all), so convenient for a day trip to London. Also, quiet at night.
